In late September through early October, Gary Teske, Len Dale and Keith and Penny Holste spent two weeks in Papua New Guinea, visiting the church leaders of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Papua New Guinea (ELCPNG), but especially the people of the Kote District of the ELCPNG.  They participated in a seminar on stewardship with the leadership of the Kote district, signed a partnership covenant, and worked on a communication project to enhance communication within the district and also between the Kote District and their partner churches in the United States, Australia and Germany.  Gary Teske, Chair of the Companion Synod Team of the Central States Synod, ELCA and Pastor Walter Teunzac, overseas partnership committee chair of the Kote District, ELCPNG will be posting updates to this blog, sharing partnership news from the Kote District and the Central States Synod.
